Rainey Rawles is a Knoxville-based artist who explores stigma associated with sexual deviance and its impact on traditional binary gender roles within her work. She received a BFA in drawing and painting from Kennesaw State University where she also studied woodworking and sculpture.

Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, Mason Fine Art, Kibbee Gallery, OZ Magazine, and is featured in private collections throughout the US. She previously served on the exhibitions subcommittee for the 2021 National Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art and Practices and the grant writing committee for the International Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art.

Rainey is part of an artist collective, Horror Skwaad, that creates short films and movie reviews, and currently hosts a podcast with her sister called Movies You Missed. She spends her free time cross stitching while watching horror movies.
